SUMMARY:Golden Spike Cruise
DESCRIPTION:In place of the fall garage tour\, there will be a day cruise to the Golden Spike National Historical Park located at Promontory Summit\, north of the Great Salt Lake in east-central Box Elder County.  The site is 23 miles west of the town of Corinne\, which is just off I-15 near Brigham City.  While in that area\, we will visit the ATK Rocket Garden\, located about a mile beyond the turnoff to Golden Spike.  It is a great photo op location for both activities\, so bring your camera. \nThe cruise will leave from two locations in the following order: for those living south of Bountiful/Woods Cross area\, meet at the LHM Ford Store at 8AM to go to Ogden for breakfast at the Black Bear Restaurant\, 366 12th Street\, Ogden\, UT. Those living north of Bountiful\, we will meet you at the restaurant at 8:45AM. After breakfast\, we will depart along 12th Street toward I-15 and head to Golden Spike.  If you want to opt out of breakfast\, we can meet at I-15 exit 363\, Love’s Truck Stop\, in Brigham City about 10AM. From Love’s we will head north to the next I-15 exit and on to Promontory. From iron horses\, on to ATK for some rocket horses and photo shots.
