Event Details

Friday, August 9

• Richard W. Erickson Foundation/Photoshoot – 7:00am

  • For those going to the photoshoot please arrive at  Richard W. Erickson Foundation between 7:00am-9:00am. See attached information about the photoshoot.

  • Please bring cash or a check for the photoshoot.

  • The entry fee is $20 per person and includes lunch. If you did not sign up for the this event, you can still join us; however, there are a limited number of extra lunches and these will be first come, first served.

• Pony Trail – 10:00am

  • For those going on the Pony Trail to Daniel’s Summit, please meet at the southwest corner of Heber City Main Street Park at 10:00am; we will depart from there at 10:30am. Lunch will be on your own.

• Registration Packet Pickup – 4:00pm-6:00pm

  • You may pick up your registration packet in the breakfast area at our host hotel, Holiday Inn Express Heber City, 1268 S Main Street, Heber City, between 4:00pm and 6:00pm.

• Friday Night Social – 7:00pm

  • We will meet at Heber City Main Street Park Southwest Bowery at 7:00pm for socializing and games. Bring your chairs and a picnic and join us for a fun, casual evening. There are several nearby restaurants that offer takeout; Lee’s Marketplace and Smith’s are also nearby and each have a deli and a bakery.

  • We would like to ask all Parking Volunteers to attend and plan on meeting with Richard Bodrero at 7:00pm to go over parking logistics for Saturday morning.

Saturday, August 10 (SHOW DAY)

• Parking on Show Field – 8:00am-10:00am

  • Access to park on the show field is between 8:00am and 10:00am only.

  • All registrants who have not picked up their registration packet must stop at Registration before entering the show field. From Main Street, turn west onto 400 South, then north onto 100 West, then east onto 300 South. Due to construction on the north side of the park, cars will enter on the south side (300 South). Registration will be in the southwest corner bowery of the park. Once you have your packet, Volunteer Parking Attendants will direct you to your parking area.

  • Cars will be parked as they arrive. Parking with friends is allowed, but you must arrive at the same time.

  • No cars will be allowed to enter the show field after 10:00am.

• Mustang and Ford Car Show – 10:00am-4:00pm

• Judging

  • Judging is based on MCA rules – hoods open, trunks closed. All cars must have a fire extinguisher. Prior Best of Show winners, if won in the last five years, are not eligible for Best of Show awards, but are eligible for Class Awards.

  • Volunteer Judges will need to report to the Southwest Bowery at 10:00am for the Judges Meeting and instruction.

  • To receive a copy of your judging sheet, email [email protected] after August 20, 2024.

• Rules/Regulations

  • No alcohol is allowed on the car show field.

  • Canopies, shade tents, or large umbrellas will be permitted on the car show field only if adequately weighted down. Park rules prohibit any stakes or poles driven into the ground. Show staff have the right to remove any tents, canopies, or large umbrellas not properly secured.

  • If you need to purchase a fire extinguisher for the show, O’Reilly’s has them for about $30 or Walmart has them for about $25.

  • No use of drones.

• Awards Banquet – 7:00pm
  Midway Town Hall

  • Dinner will be served at 7:00pm; awards, auction, and raffle will begin at 7:30pm.

  • You must have your banquet ticket to receive dinner. Everyone is welcome to attend the awards announcements, auction, and raffle.

  • There is parking for Midway Town Hall on the street all around the block or you can park in the parking lot directly behind Midway Town Hall (on the north side). Do not park across the street in the post office parking lot; you will get towed.

  • Menu: Choice of Herb Roasted Chicken or Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork, Mixed Green Salad, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Green Beans, Fresh Rolls & Butter, Assorted Mini Desserts, and Beverage (water or lemonade). You are welcome to bring your own beverages; however, no alcohol is permitted in Midway Town Hall.

  • The banquet dinner is currently sold out. Some banquet tickets may become available due to cancellations. Please check with Registration for any last minute availability.

Additional Information

• If you are trailering your car, trailers may be parked at the parking lot located to the south of Wasatch High School located at 930 South 500 East. Your trailer may be parked there any time on Friday, August 9 and may be left there for the weekend.
