PAOLI, Pa. (July 18th, 2019) – Aftermarket automotive parts company AmericanMuscle (AM) is pleased to announce their latest scholarship winners for the Fall of 2019 semester: Hailee Paul of Southern Illinois University and Alex Jobbins of University of California Berkeley.
Hailee is a senior pursing a degree in Automotive Technology with a specialization in Automotive Management, which she plans to use as a district manager for an automotive manufacturing or aftermarket automotive parts company. Alec is a third-year student pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on design and product development.
Introduced in 2013, the AM Scholarship is an essay-based program where entrants are instructed to write about who they are and how they plan on using their automotive education to incite positive change and innovation within the custom car industry. Each year, four winners are selected—two for the spring and two for the fall, with each winner receiving a $2,000 scholarship.
To date, AM has awarded $40,000 in scholarships over the course of five years, with no plans to stop. If you are a high school senior or full-time student at an American College or technical institute who is pursuing an automotive degree or related field of study, all you have to do is send in a 700-1500 word essay following the essay prompt to [email protected] with proof of enrollment. Winners of the fall scholarship will be notified by July 15th and spring scholarship winners will be notified by November 15th.
